Constantly curious, with a flame for understanding what we thought was cool. For Bakas, that child-like spark never completely faded. Raised in the heartbeat of NYC, our dreams of a better world began long before web 1.0 ever existed, laying the foundation for our motto at Baka.NYC - Dream Big Baka.

Have you ever learned anything the hard way?
Life's journey often unfolds with unexpected lessons. For us, one of the biggest ones was pouring our hearts and souls into companies that ultimately undervalued, and betrayed us. During this time navigating the unpaved web3 landscape at a media company, we witnessed the potential of this life changing technology and the complexities of acquiring crypto and assets on the blockchain. After parting ways, the world was our canvas, and Baka.NYC was conceived—a blend of tech-savvy roots, Swiss Army Designer skills, and a commitment to unconventional living.

Have you ever felt the world truly at your fingertips?
With the newfound freedom, Baka.NYC became a reality. Just look at the things we already can do with just a laptop. Bring in the modern smartphone and an internet connection and the world is quite literally in the palm of your hand. Changing THE world seems like a pompous idea, but building something that changes someones life in THEIR world pretty much is the same thing to us.  

Do you have a "one day I'll...?"
We never knew what we were gunna do for sure - but we always knew we were gunna build something useful. Recognizing the challenges faced by the public in the web3 world, we set out to be a slow-burn catalyst, capturing audiences and imparting knowledge about the impending tech wave. The Legacy Collection was born, to fund our studio to secure essential equipment, and offering rewards to our earliest dedicated community.

Why does fashion bring people together?
Clothing, a universal necessity, became our canvas for a reason. Beyond being a dope clothing brand, Baka.NYC aimed to cultivate a community mirroring the collaborative spirit required by any branded project. The goal? Short-term build a proper studio. Mid-Term build a community. Long-Term build an Ecosystem that traces back to this very first Legacy collection, and reward those who actively kept up with what we have to offer.
